BRANDING EVENTS WITH A TWIST

We Make Brands Unforgettable.

At Twist Media, we don’t just run events; we engineer moments that make people feel something. As a brand activation company, we bring your brand to life through immersive experiences, live events, and campaigns that turn audiences into advocates.

WHAT IS BRAND ACTIVATION, REALLY?

Brand activation is about transforming your brand from something people recognise into something they remember. It’s the live event, the interactive experience, the product launch that makes your audience stop, engage, and walk away with a genuine connection to what you stand for.

Whether you’re entering a new market, launching a product, or simply wanting to deepen loyalty among existing customers — a well-executed brand activation campaign creates that “I was there” moment that no digital ad can replicate.

The brands that do it well don’t just make noise. They build a legacy.

NEXUS OF CREATIVITY
& INNOVATION

BUILDING LEGACY

WHAT WE DO

We’re a full-service brand activation company, which means you get one dedicated team across the whole thing. No briefing for five different vendors. No chasing multiple people for updates. Just one studio that handles:

Brand Development

Your brand needs to mean something. We dig into your brand, what it stands for, who it’s for, why it matters and build an event identity around that. Every touchpoint sings the same song.

Creative Concept & Design

Stage design, environmental branding, collateral, signage, all of it designed with intention. Not “what looks good” but “what makes people feel something.”

Marketing & Pre-Event Publicity

A great activation starts before anyone walks through the door. We build the buzz, social, editorial, media, so your audience arrives already excited.

Brand Activation

This is where it all comes together. We don’t just create events, we create moments that move people. From concept to execution, we design experiences that connect your brand to your audience in a way that’s felt, remembered, and shared. Not just seen, not just attended, but experienced.

Web & Social Media

Your activation shouldn’t end when the lights go down. We extend it into digital: microsites, social content, shareable moments, so the reach outlives the event.

Copywriting & Editorial

Words do the heavy lifting when the visuals can’t. We write brand narratives, event scripts, and content that sounds human, a very smart, very on-brand human.

HOW WE WORK

We’ve produced over 1,000 events. The most important thing that experience taught us? The process matters just as much as the idea.

1. Discovery

We get properly curious about your brand. Goals, audience, what success actually looks like for you. Not the box-ticking version, the real version.

2. Strategy & Concept

Then we build a concept that maps to a clear audience journey. You’ll see multiple directions, not one “trust us on this” idea.

3. Design & Production

Visuals, stage builds, digital assets, collateral, all of it handled. We obsess over details most people won’t notice, because the people who do notice are the ones who become loyal.

4. Logistics & Coordination

Venue, vendors, run-of-show, rehearsals, our project managers are the calm in the middle of it all. You’ll always know what’s happening. You won’t have to chase us.

5. Live Execution

On the day, we’re on-site and on it. Quietly making sure everything runs the way it was always supposed to.

6. Post-Event Debrief

We don’t disappear when the lights go out. We sit down, look at what worked, and figure out how to make the next one even better.

WHY CHOOSE US

We’ve Done This Over 1,000 Times

There aren’t many scenarios we haven’t encountered. 1,000+ events across government, fintech, healthcare, retail, luxury. Different industries, different sensitivities, different definitions of a win. We adapt. We don’t apply the same template to everything.

Award-Winning Work, Not Just Claims

We’ve picked up multiple Marketing Events Awards (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) across categories including Best B2B Event, Best Hybrid Event, and Best Government Event. We’re proud of the recognition, but we’re more proud of the results behind it.

We’re a True Full-Service Brand Activation Agency

Strategy. Design. Production. Digital. On-site management. You don’t need to juggle five different vendors. We handle the whole picture, so your brand stays consistent and your team stays sane.

We Work Across Sectors

From government conferences to fintech launches, healthcare forums to retail activations, we understand that different industries have different sensitivities, different audiences, and different definitions of success. We adapt, not just execute.

The “Little Twist” Is Real

Our tagline isn’t marketing fluff. Every project we take on gets that extra thinking — the unexpected moment, the creative detail, the idea that makes your audience say “I didn’t expect that.” That’s what makes a campaign memorable.

BRANDS WE’VE BROUGHT TO LIFE

From government-scaled national events to intimate product launches, here are some of the brands that trusted us.

FAQs

1. What is the difference between an event and a brand activation?

An event is a gathering with a purpose — a conference, a gala, a product launch. Brand activation is the strategy and experience design layer on top of that. It’s the difference between simply hosting an event and using that event to deliberately shift how your audience thinks, feels, or acts toward your brand. A brand activation can happen at an event, but it can also happen through a pop-up, an experiential campaign, or a consumer interaction that has nothing to do with a formal event at all. Put simply: every brand activation can involve an event, but not every event is a brand activation.

2. What is the "60/40 Rule" for brand building vs. activation?

The 60/40 rule is a marketing principle, popularised by Binet & Field’s research, that suggests brands should allocate roughly 60% of their marketing budget to long-term brand building (awareness, emotion, identity) and 40% to short-term activation (conversions, sales, direct response). In the context of brand activation, this means your live experiences and campaigns should serve both goals: they should drive immediate action while also reinforcing the brand story that builds loyalty over time. We keep this balance in mind when advising clients on campaign strategy.

3. How do we secure a Roadshow Permit (NPP)?

If your brand activation involves a public roadshow, pop-up, or promotional activity in a public space, you’ll likely need a Notification of Public Performance (NPP) or relevant permits depending on the venue.

The requirements vary by location and activity type. For mall activations, approval typically goes through the mall management.

For public spaces, you may need to engage Singapore Tourism Board (STB), National Parks Board (NParks), or the relevant Town Council.

As your brand activation company, we handle the permit application process and compliance requirements on your behalf, so you don’t have to navigate the paperwork alone.

4. How do we incentivise data sharing without feeling "spammy"?

The key is value exchange: people will willingly share their data when they feel they’re getting something genuinely worthwhile in return. At Twist Media, we design data capture moments that feel like a natural part of the experience: an interactive game with a prize, a personalised brand moment, or an exclusive piece of content unlocked via sign-up. We also ensure all data collection is clearly PDPA-compliant, with transparent opt-in language. The best activations make data sharing feel like a reward, not a toll gate.

5. What are the NEA regulations for food sampling?

To conduct food sampling in Singapore, you must obtain a Temporary Fair Permit from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) at least two weeks before your event.

Key requirements include:

  • Licensing: All staff handling open food must be WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certified
  • Infrastructure: Your booth must have access to a wash basin with piped water and proper wastewater disposal
  • Hygiene: Food must be kept in covered displays, and servers must use gloves or tongs

Waste: You are required to engage licensed contractors for daily waste disposal and maintain high environmental sanitation standards as per NEA guidelines

6. How does Twist Media manage crowd control for "hype" launches?

Hype launches, like limited-edition drops, celebrity appearances, and high-demand product releases, require a different operational playbook. We use a combination of pre-registration and queueing systems (physical and digital), trained crowd management staff, clear signage and flow design, and coordination with venue security.

For larger activations, we also build contingency protocols in case demand significantly exceeds projections. The goal is always to create excitement without chaos.

7. How do we integrate "Phygital" elements?

“Phygital” — the blend of physical and digital — is one of the most effective ways to extend the reach and lifespan of a brand activation. In practice, this might look like: AR/VR experiences at a physical booth, QR codes that unlock exclusive digital content, live social walls displaying real-time audience posts, or gamified apps that bridge the on-site experience with a digital journey. At Twist Media, we design phygital touchpoints that serve a strategic purpose and ensure seamless integration between what happens on the ground and what happens online.

8. How do we leverage Influencers/KOLs for the activation?

Influencers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) can dramatically amplify the reach of your brand activation, but only if they’re integrated thoughtfully. The most effective approach is to involve KOLs as genuine participants in the experience, not just passive attendees asked to post. This means giving them early access, exclusive moments worth sharing, and a clear creative brief that aligns with both your brand and their audience.

We help clients identify the right KOL profiles for their target demographic, manage the engagement and briefing process, and build activation moments that are inherently shareable, so the content feels authentic, not sponsored.

9. How do we ensure the activation is "Green Plan 2030" compliant?

Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 sets ambitious sustainability targets, and brands are increasingly expected, and in some cases required, to align their public activations with these goals. For brand activations, this typically means: minimising single-use plastics and disposables, opting for modular and reusable booth structures, choosing sustainable materials for collaterals and giveaways, managing waste responsibly on-site, and where possible, selecting venues and vendors with green certifications.

We’ve been incorporating sustainable event practices into our work and can help you design an activation that meets your green commitments without compromising the experience.
